We are pleased to announce that Manoj Ramachandran has agreed to work with OsteoWeld as Clinical Strategy Advisor.
Manoj is a Senior Consultant Paediatric and Young Adult Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at the Royal London Hospital, Barts Health and Honorary Professor. He is also the Director of Innovation at Barts Orthopaedics and an Honorary Reader at the Institute of Bioengineering, Queen Mary, University of London.
He has published over 110 papers in peer-reviewed journals and written 18 books, including ‘Basic Orthopaedic Sciences’ and ‘Clinical Cases and OSCEs in Surgery’ used extensively by surgical and orthopaedic trainees globally.
He is a recognised educator, teaching on multiple courses globally and having founded and run education companies. He is also passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship, having founded, run and/or advised multiple digital health (such as Viz.ai) and med tech (such as Pivot Medical acquired by Stryker Inc.) companies and having worked previously as Director of Informatics, Surgery and Cancer, and later CCIO of the Royal London Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust.
Manoj’s wealth of clinical, research and med tech experience and insight will be invaluable in helping us to accelerate the development of our ultrasonic platform technology and weldable implants with a focus on both user experience and better patient outcomes.
